Timex Watch Reviews
Founded in 1854 in the USA, it has a reputation for durability with its "takes a licking and keeps on ticking" slogan.
The Timex Dégradé Reissue is a prime example of this new direction, showcasing a blend of retro design and modern appeal.
Having been a runner through the 1990’s I can say on good authority that the Ironman line always delivers.
Late last year, Timex released a bunch of interesting field watches under the Expedition North banner. On the surface, these seem to essentially be upgraded versions of the cheaper Weekender and Expedition watches.
My wife's gonna kill me for this, but I pulled the trigger on what promised to be the best Timex watch in years!
So straight away, you can see this bears a striking resemblance to the likes of the Casio A168, both in terms of sizing and design. This Timex T78587 has the same style of high-shine resin case, with a darker inner portion and a digital display at the very centre.
This is the 1978 Day-Date Reissue, which appears to be a follow up to the similarly styled ‘1975 Reissue’ from a few months back, with some alterations. I missed out on the latter option, so when this newer 37mm model popped up on their site it was too tempting to ignore.
So, there’s a certain Q-Timex that nobody seems to be talking about. That being the elusive Falcon Eye, which I think is quite possibly the best-looking out of all of these reissue watches.
The model I have here is the 38mm Weekender, with an 8.9mm depth and a 45.6mm lug to lug. This suits my slim 6.25 inch very nicely, though they do make several other versions of this watch.
This is the 37mm version of the Timex Fairfield and it’s really boosted my appreciation of this watch. I’ve covered the regular ‘men’s’ version a few times before.
Simple sophisticated style. These pair are great budget options. We’ll be comparing two of the best budget minimalist watches, in this Timex vs Casio watch review.
This model exemplifies Timex’s focus on unique design and aesthetic appeal, targeting a niche segment of watch enthusiasts.
