Ben Arthur - Founder & Content Lead

I’m a watch nerd who has been collecting and reviewing watches since 2017. I love mid-tier brands like Citizen and Seiko and upcoming micro brands such as Vaer, Nezumi, and others, particularly those using minimalist or vintage-inspired designs.

When I’m not salivating over timepieces, I’m scouring IMDb’s top 250 to see which movies are left to add to my watchlist!

I keep the ship running and keep my husband in check! Between a tidal wave of watches and two crazy furballs, it’s quite the challenge, but we’ve made it this far, so I must be doing something right, eh?

Blue & Boots - Emotional Support Officers

We love kibble, pooping at the most inappropriate times, and waking our parents up at ungodly hours.

We were abused by our previous owners, now we do the abusing!

I’ve been reviewing watches for a short time but have been a watch enthusiast for decades. I have a deep appreciation for all things mechanical, classic designs, and solid build quality. My tastes are split between Japanese and Swiss watchmakers, with Grand Seiko and Omega being my top choices.

I enjoy reading about the watchmaking industry of old, as well as newer innovations. I’m also a fanatical fisherman and vintage Jeep devotee.

My Dad’s battered Seiko 7548 was the gateway-watch for my helpless addiction. As a kid, I was fascinated by how it looked and felt. As I grew, I came to appreciate how it represented my Father and his adventures.

From G-Shocks to JLCs, mechanics to aesthetics, I enjoy all aspects of this weird and wonderful watch world. When not changing straps or trawling ebay, you’ll find me somewhere in the great outdoors with a watch on my wrist a smile on my face.

The watch that sent me down this money pit we call a hobby was a vintage Swatch Irony I received on my 14th birthday. After five years of buying every affordable watch I saw, I've finally started refining my collection!

I prefer analog tool-tastic military designs (digital is the work of the devil), so naturally, my favorites include Sinn, CWC, and Marathon.

I’m a bit of a gear junkie, obsessed with pens, watches, and pocket knives; if I'm not researching gear, you'll find me camping on the banks of the River Trent.
